Deer at dusk

“You may seem alone but you are not, for there are always eyes watching you.  All the wildlife of the woods, the insects, birds, and animals, are well aware of your presence no matter how softly you may tread, and they follow your every move although you cannot see them.”  ~Thalassa Cruso

“… we can easily ignore the beauty hidden in the twigs, weeds, and overcrowded growth. Yet there is beauty present, when we take the time to soak it in, think about it, and be grateful for it.”  ~John Mertz

All confused

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny, warm day here in West Tennessee.  While I was out for an afternoon stroll, I noticed some wildflowers blooming that I don’t usually expect to see in November.  The warm temperatures this autumn have them all confused.  With a cold front rolling in this week, this is probably the last I’ll see of these pretty blooms for a while, but it was nice to have one last nice day to enjoy them.
