Good for the soul

After spending a lot of time in the house, we got out last night and walked on our country road shortly before sunset.  The beauty of the clouds at sunset, the colorful meadow flowers and the full pink moon were refreshing.   I have to say the walk was good for my soul.

Supermoon going down

These pictures were taken on the morning of January 2, 2018 as the sun was rising and the full moon was setting in the western sky.

Moon through the pine trees

I stepped out my back door the other night and was pleasantly greeted by a big, bright full moon shining down at me through the trees .  Sometimes all you can say is “Wow!!!”  🙂

The moon, like a flower
In heaven’s high bower,
With silent delight
Sits and smiles on the night.
