About

Welcome!  West Tennessee is the place where I have called home for most of my life.  This blog is a photographic journal of everyday things that I see “in my neck of the woods” that bring me amazement, joy, wonder and just “bless my heart”.  I hope you find something that blesses yours, too.

  1. Thanks for following “What’s The Good Word?” You and I are enjoying the same phase of living–the empty nest. It’s different, for sure, but it’s wonderful to explore the beauty of God’s world and to share it with others. I’m enjoying your “neck of the woods!” Blessings to you!

    • I like that you are so familiar with and have names for the eagles that you photograph. Your love for the animals comes through in your photography. You are very lucky to live in such a beautiful place!

  2. Thanks for the recent visit to/follow of my blog. It led me here and I’ve enjoyed experiencing nature’s variety as it’s expressed in the entries you’ve posted over the past couple of months.

    • Thanks for taking the time to visit and comment on my blog. I have enjoyed the beautiful photographs at your site and I am looking forward to seeing more.

    • I was born and raised in the western part of Tennessee (USA). I enjoy traveling, but have chosen to keep the photos on this blog about the place that I have called “home” for most of my life. Your travel and nature photos are very beautiful and you have visited such interesting places! I look forward to looking through your blog some more and to future posts.

      • I’ve also visited the US, a lot of National Parks, but I’ve never been in Tennessee ! I only know Memphis haha, otherwise, I don’t really what’s famous over there.. I’m ashamed 😉 I would like to visit the East and the South. The US are so vast, with unique and wonderful landscapes, it’s difficult to have a glimpse of everything 😉

  3. Hi Rebecca! Thank you for stopping by. You have a great blog/ take incredible photos! Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to exploring your blog 🙂 – Faye
