September’s “Corn” Moon, marking the time of corn harvesting and the last full moon of summer, has now peaked. Along with a photo of this luminous moon,

I also thought I would share some pictures taken while out walking beside the corn fields near our house earlier in the summer.

“Our deep respect for the land and its harvest is the legacy of generations of farmers who put food on our tables, preserved our landscape, and inspired us with a powerful work ethic.” ~James H. Douglas, Jr.
Beautiful photos. I like the many phases of the moon and the corn moon. Great views near your house.
Thanks. Even in the simplest places, there so much out in nature to enjoy.
nice assortment of shots Rebecca!
Thanks, Wayne!
Wonderful set, Rebecca! 👏🏼
Thanks, Eliza!
Very nice photos. Wonderful nature’s beauty to enjoy on your walk.
Thanks, Mags. You never know what you’ll see.
You are welcome.
Rebecca, I like your photos showing the beautiful full moon as well as the other moon photos and phases. The corn in silhouette pictures are nice … it’s as if you could reach out and touch them. I guess irrigation would really be necessary in a hot Summer like we have had, with little rain. I was thinking squirrels got hold of the corn, but it was deer and that surprised me, but I should have known from the picture of the deer. 🙂
