Garter Snake
This snake recently found its way into our yard. Our dogs were pretty inhospitable towards it, and eventually, it slithered away. I love my dogs.

These little mud towers can be seen in the moist ditches along the road. As burrowing crawfish dig holes, they bring mud balls up to the surface and form these earthen chimneys. Sorta makes you want to break out in song…
