“Why, then, do we dread the clouds which now darken our sky? True, for a while they hide the sun, but the sun is not quenched; He will shine out again before long. Meanwhile those black clouds are filled with rain; and the blacker they are, the more likely they are to yield plentiful showers. How can we have rain without clouds?” ~C. H. Spurgeon

An eagle in the clouds
During one of our recent walks, my husband pointed out this cloud formation that looked like an eagle’s head. It only lasted long enough to get a few shots before the higher winds swept it away.

Cloud patterns
I enjoy looking at the pattern that the clouds make in the sky. In the first photo, I think it looks like a dog riding on a horse. The second photo reminds me of angel wings.
The sky, a perfect empty canvas, offers clouds nonetheless. They shift and drift and beg interpretation … such is the nature of art. ~Jeb Dickerson
