I finally put out a feeder this year and have really enjoyed watching their antics. Ours will probably head south by the middle of this month. I sure hate to see them go.
I’m learning lots about hummers this year. Sedum even?!
It is fun to observe their behavior. I didn’t realize they were so territorial.
When I was considering to add a hummingbird feeder, the clerk told me to hang it away from the other feeders, the hummingbirds would run off the other birds.I have no doubt about that now!
I hadn’t thought about that. I may have to move my feeder next year.
