Recently, my husband and I decided to get a canoe. On Labor Day weekend, in humid 93 degree weather, we took it out on its “maiden voyage” on Reelfoot Lake. There was a nice breeze out on the lake and the scenery was beautiful. I definitely think I’m going to like canoeing — especially on cooler days.

Breath taking❤️
God’s wonders to behold!
Beautiful – I love reflections on the water. Your husband can paddle; you’ll take beautiful pictures; it sounds like a win-win to me.
We both paddled, but he was good about stopping if I wanted to take a photo, though it’s not always easy to stop a moving canoe exactly when you want. 🙂
No, not like you can throw an anchor overboard. It looked very peaceful there.
Oh my! How beautiful and fascinating! I love it! Glad you shared it with us! 😊
There’s always something beautiful to see around the lake! Thank you!
I love canoeing! Everyone here kayaks, nobody canoes.Canoes are basically used on fresh water not salt.
Make sure to always wear a PFD Rebecca & always carry a third paddle.
Beautiful photos and reflections! Nothing much beats a lazy day on the water!!!
Thanks, Donna! I think I could learn to like it. 🙂
