This young bird was sitting in the shade on our driveway one afternoon. Later, when I checked on it, it had moved on to parts unknown.

How sweet. Like us when we take our first steps. We know we might fall, but we must try. The first steps are the hardest.

Awww … what a cutie! This one had a mother bird nearby watching over it too.
I know – I sure fell in love with that sweet baby. I had to share it with you Rebecca, the same frightened look. It was good to know that the mother was nearby.
usually this means it fell out of a nest and its survivability is in question. (ground predators…cats)
