Part of the fun of taking a nature walk is that you never know what you’re going to see. Encounters with nature, no matter how small, are blessings to be enjoyed and appreciated.

“Unexpected and pleasant surprises occur every day … We will notice if we look. We will see good sprinkled liberally over every day if we are open.” ~Steve Goodier
Wonderful captures, Rebecca!
Thank you, Eliza!
You got a beautiful array of critters.
Thanks! 🙂
Hi. You must have been amazed to see all those snow geese up above. And your camera was ready! Neil S.
I saw the snow geese on the country road where we usually walk. It was quite a surprise. I always take my camera, just in case. 🙂
You had a potpourri of critter encounters along the way. I’ve never seen a bluebird and hope to one day. I know we have them in Michigan, but I’v never been in the right place and time to see one.
I see them occasionally, but they rarely hold still long enough to get a good photo. They are easily frightened.
A fabulous walk, Rebecca, with so much to see!
Thanks, Ellen!
