For me, the highlight of our late afternoon walks is looking at the sky and seeing the ever-changing cloud formations. We are often first drawn to clouds that are ablaze in vibrant sunset colors. However, the textured clouds in soft pastels and gray tones are also quite beautiful and intriguing.

“God’s cloud-scenes are for everybody everywhere. Some people can never afford to travel … but the sky is always overhead, and everywhere to be seen.” ~Alfred Rowland
Clouds are like snowflakes……no two are alike!
They also determine the type of light you’ll get at sunrise and sunset.
Great shots and study Rebecca!
Thanks, Wayne. 🙂
God is everywhere, isn’t He? The skies declare His glory.
They certainly do! 🙂
What beautiful photos of the sky.
And it’s new every day. Thanks, Mags.
Marvelous gallery, Rebecca. The sky offers 50% of our view, yet it is astonishing how few notice it!
So true! Thanks, Eliza.
You have quite a collection of clouds here Rebecca! I have to start looking up more than I do now! I remember fondly as a kid, laying on the grass and looking up at the sky and seeing what animals the clouds looked like. 🙂
I think over the sprawling farm fields, the sky stands out in great contrast. It’s always fun to look up and see something new and different, and icing on the cake when you see animals sailing across the sky. 🙂
Yes, a double treat to see a spectacular sky and animals too!
Wow, these are amazing cloud images. Thanks for sharing the beauty!
Thanks so much!
Very nice, cloud photographs are easy to shoot but hard to get right. These made a great series. 😁😁
Thanks, Ted. 🙂
Another subject I don’t do well
A lot of these were made with my cell phone. Seems crazy, but sometimes it picks up greater detail and truer color than my regular camera.
That’s a beautiful collection!

You never know what you’re going to see. Thanks, Julie!
The ever-changing clouds feel like such a quiet reminder of God’s creativity and care. Rebecca, your words and photos invite us to slow down and notice His handiwork in every shade and season of the sky. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your kind and encouraging words, Mary. It’s good for the soul to get out and enjoy God’s beautiful creation.
