The red maple trees in our yard are flowering and make a pretty backdrop for the various birds that come and go from their busy branches.
… After that unheard-of coldness,
That intolerable Winter,
Came the Spring with all its splendor,
All its birds and all its blossoms …
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow – (The Song of Hiawatha)
Some days I go outside and our trees (mostly red maple) are just alive with birds, twittering and launching themselves at the feeders … So lovely …
They definitely make the outside world more interesting!
Love the red maple buds in your captures and all so lovely, great variety! 🙂
Thanks! I really enjoy the colors that the maple trees add to spring.
