I was sitting outside watching the hummingbird activity around the feeders, when suddenly a little gray treefrog seemed to come sailing out of nowhere into view. It landed on the stem of one of my rose bushes, where it sat very still, hoping to blend in with its surroundings.

I love these tiny little creatures. They do such a great job of hiding in plain sight!
Yes, they do! This one was about 3/4 of an inch long. I probably never would have seen it except for its long jump.
I can rarely find these little guys, even when they are calling, I can’t see them. Great captures!

Very cute and I’ve never seen one of these tree frogs. He decided you should watch him as well as the hummingbirds, if not instead of them.
