Because we were close by, my husband and I decided to make an unplanned stop at a little country cemetery that we help maintain. We were quite surprised when we drove up and saw a red fox standing right in the middle of it. While we watched, the fox appeared to be foraging for food as it strolled to the back of the cemetery and out of sight.

And this fox is very photogenic as well.
He looked like a pretty young fox. I have never seen one standing out in the open like this in the daytime. He must have really been hungry.
Yes, desperate for food so ignored humans and did not seek cover.
If your superstitious seeing a fox in a grave yard might be unsettling.
Not superstitious here. 🙂 He was a most welcome guest as far as I was concerned.
