Bird watching after a new fallen snow is exciting too. We cherish our cardinals and blue jays. They light up the canvas God has so graciously created for us. Your photos are gorgeous.
Thanks, Kathy! We got the frigid weather this past weekend, but still haven’t gotten any snow. I’m sure the colors of those two beautiful birds do brighten your snowy landscape. 🙂
Thanks, Linda! When I go out to put seeds in the feeders in the mornings, I am often greeted by several cardinals which settle on nearby branches awaiting food. I have to say that they are my favorite backyard bird.
They are my favorite too Rebecca – although the jays are beautiful, they are so aggressive and the cardinals are more laid back and quieter, easier to enjoy their beauty and demeanor.
Wow, that is one puffy male cardinal! I just love the variety of wildlife one can find in their own “backyard.” Thanks for sharing!
A beautiful array of birds.
Thanks, Tim!
Great collection and images.
Thanks! 🙂
How gorgeous!
Thanks, Cindy! They keep the yard lively.
Gorgeous birds. ❤️
Thanks! 🙂

They are all beautiful birds you’ve shown us Rebecca … I think the male cardinal is my favorite.

I often see more birds in my own yard than I do if I go out looking for them, and it’s a lot more relaxing. Thanks for stopping by.
