Finding Feathers

Occasionally I come upon a beautiful bird feather on the ground while we’re out walking.  I enjoy seeing the different colors and patterns that each one has.  It is also a clue to what types of birds are in the area.

    • I was thinking it might be a vulture feather. Every evening around sunset, we see them fly across the fields to their roosting place. But we do also see an eagle occasionally.

  1. Each one has its own beauty. It’s no wonder Native Americans used them as part of their wardrobe. God’s intricate design.
