Enjoying the Beauty

Last week, we finally received some much-needed rain.  Between the rain showers, we were able to see a variety of clouds, several rainbows, and patches of low-lying fog.  It was a joy to witness all the natural beauty around us.

Instructions for living a life:
Pay attention.
Be astonished.
Tell about it.

New Every Day

I never tire of looking toward the west to see the lighting, shapes and colors which combine to create a unique masterpiece in the evening sky.

Reflections

A lake is a landscape’s most beautiful and expressive feature. It is Earth’s eye; looking into which the beholder measures the depth of his own nature.  ~Henry David Thoreau

Passing through

Photos taken yesterday evening as a storm system passed through, bringing with it some imposing clouds.  It was impossible not to pause a moment and be amazed.
