Trumpet Daffodils

One day earlier this week the sun was shining, the temperature was mild, and it was a perfect occasion for an afternoon stroll.  I spotted a number of wild daffodils in bloom along our country road.  Nothing brightens the disposition like seeing their little yellow heads bobbing in the wind.

  1. Oh I agree with you Rebecca – daffodils are such a welcome sign of Spring. Ours will be a long time coming as we are getting another bad cold spell next week. I’m surprised the Snowdrops didn’t cringe and run for cover once they surfaced and saw the freezing rain and snow!
