One day earlier this week the sun was shining, the temperature was mild, and it was a perfect occasion for an afternoon stroll. I spotted a number of wild daffodils in bloom along our country road. Nothing brightens the disposition like seeing their little yellow heads bobbing in the wind.

Absolutely gorgeous. Sure sign of spring. The fear we’ll have to wait a while.
We’re expecting snow again this weekend … then spring again. Crazy weather!!!
Oh my. Hope those daffodils make it.
They’re pretty tough!
Oh I agree with you Rebecca – daffodils are such a welcome sign of Spring. Ours will be a long time coming as we are getting another bad cold spell next week. I’m surprised the Snowdrops didn’t cringe and run for cover once they surfaced and saw the freezing rain and snow!
We’re expecting snow and freezing temps again this weekend. That may be the end of our beautiful blooms.
That’s a real shame Rebecca. The weather is wacky all across the United States this Winter season.
Love Daffodils! I know of a small remote island that has them growing on it.
I bet that’s beautiful!
it is,sent you some shots.
Thanks, Wayne!
