Beautiful – for a minute I thought they were on millet seed like you feed to domestic birds.
These weeds grow wild along the levee. We see them often but I’m unfamiliar with their name. They do look like they would be a good source of seeds for the birds.
I thought of you today as I follow Birds & Blooms on Facebook and they had a beautiful picture of a Dickcissel, which was a new bird for me until you featured it before on your blog.
