They come around here in the winter too with their heavy winter coats and looking twice their size. It’s fun watching them search for hidden treasures in the snow😍
I do enjoy sitting in the backyard and watching them scurry about. I know watching them in the snow has to be a special treat.

Hello from the suburbs of Philadelphia. You know, it seems to me that there are fewer squirrels around here than there used to be. I haven’t read anything about diminishing squirrel populations, so I hope I’m wrong about that.
I have counted at least six squirrels at my feeders at one time, so they seem to be thriving here. I’m not really sure about the general population. It would be interesting to look into.
